Two lost souls, one powerful connection. As a Dom for Club Moon, Nick Santos uses bondage to alleviate his anger at being forcefully changed. And when he meets Gwen Waters, his carefully controlled world is turned upside-down. Through her, he'll learn what true self-control is and that being a vampire has its benefits.
Freshly divorced from an abusive ex-husband, Gwen doesn't want another domineering man. But when she meets Nick, a world she only fantasized about is laid before her. Can she trust a Dom who's also a vampire? And can Nick be the man she deserves?
Like humans, vampires also have varied tastes. Nick prefers glam rock and heavy metal music over the boring tones of classical music (to him anyway). Gwen prefers more laid back music but does enjoy dancing to Madonna as she cleans. Now, she'll have an audience...

Carnal Moon
Gwen went to the iPod connected to a Bose speaker. “What music do you prefer?” She hit the stop button just as Erotica started replaying. Not doing that again.
“I’m partial to 8o’s glam rock.” Nick remained standing. “But I’ll listen to whatever you choose.”
Gwen glanced back at him. “I always assumed vampires preferred classical music.”
“Why?” Nick laughed. “There isn’t asinine lyrics or extensive guitar solos. And Mozart never wrote any power ballads.”
“True,” Gwen nodded. “Although if electric guitars had been available, Mozart would have used one.” She scanned the playlists. “How about Michael Bublé?”
“That’s fine.” Nick nearly added that her musical choice made for a more romantic atmosphere.
After hitting the play button, Gwen turned back towards Nick. “So are you dead?” Red colored her cheeks. “I realize that’s rude to ask, but I need to know.”
Nick chuckled. “No, vampires have a heartbeat and flowing blood, just like humans.” He held out his hand to Gwen, who cautiously took it. Her warm hand was lovely in his cooler ones. “My body temp is lower, but I’m not dead.”
“That’s good,” Gwen breathed as Nick stood inches from her, still holding her hand. “I couldn’t handle kissing a corpse.” A new blush crossed her cheeks.
“Luckily for us, I’m not one.” Gwen’s alluring scent filled Nick’s nose, again threatening to turn his eyes. The closeness of her body made his nerves sizzle. All night, he’d craved tasting her lips, and now she was close enough to kiss. Since she feared being controlled again, he held back. Trust grew through small steps.
