The Long and Winding Garden Path
You’ve been on quite a journey, walking through the seasons and exercises in this almanac. Did you enjoy your stroll? I hope so. And I trust you learned as well. Now we’ve reached the end of the road only to begin again. The potting shed—the place where we started—has come back into sight. Let’s just sit awhile to rest and reflect.
Your next seasonal journey can be quite different as you use your new tools, apply your recently acquired knowledge and listen to your inner nature. As you continue to grow with each season, the experience and wisdom you gain along the way provides a clearer planning-and-planting vision for the next phase of your life.
We are wonderfully designed to live harmoniously with Nature’s ever changing landscape. Living fully in each season requires more than modifying our behavior according to that season. With appropriate tools we can lay the groundwork for cultivating our body’s natural healing system. Eventually, you will reap the rewards of a strong body and strong mind.
