Moon Daughter: Nephilim Quest Book Two
There were some who even believed that the limbs of pale children who possessed strong supernatural powers could be used to make magic. Such children were frequently stolen from their parents and killed so that parts of their body could be used in magic spells. Flesh might be dried and ground to make magic potions, and bones were used as amulets and magic wands. The Moon Children were often hated and feared because they were held to be creatures of the night and so related to demons.
