Linsora realized that tejina and chikara would be sensitive subjects. She tried to recall what was in Tokor’s books and what she had learned elsewhere. This must be what diplomats always do, she thought, sort out what not to talk about as much as how to phrase acceptable subjects. She preferred direct conversation and wished she had never heard of plants, microbes or Tokorel.
Harda cleared his throat. Linsora wondered if he was searching for a change of subject as hard as she was.
