“You said it was my fault for what you’ve become. How did any of what you just told me have anything to do with me? We were long parted and separated when that happened. I didn’t make you make those decisions,” Darius replied bitterly.
In return, Allison scowled as the anger rose in her voice. “It was your fault! If you hadn’t mistreated me! If you hadn’t ruined me the way that you had! If you hadn’t helped to drive me crazy, I wouldn’t have been in that situation and I wouldn’t have had to make those choices.”
“You didn’t have to make any of those choices,” Darius shot back.
Allison stood her ground “You know what happened, you have no idea what I went through and you, you just tried to shove me under the rug. You tried to fix me instead of understanding me. That’s all you did. You tried to make me better. Make me not be crazy, but you never understood”
“I’m not going over this again,” said Darius. “The idea that I don’t understand what you went through is incredibly hurtful and offensive”
“Oh, poor baby. You don’t like to talk about emotional things. Hurt your feelings?” Allison said
