Now Is the Time—Once Again
It’s never too late to begin creating or re-creating your inner garden. Once you learn to actively and consistently listen to and tend your female terrain you will know how to take action before you reach a health crisis. If your internal garden grows into a severely unfavorable condition, very little energy remains for repair, recovery or restoration.
Consistent maintenance along the way takes much less time, effort and energy than waiting until later to try to regain what has been lost. I firmly believe we live in an era—economically, environmentally, politically, socially and spiritually—in which optimum wellness is critically important.
Now is a good time for you to review and update the notes you entered in your almanac. Skim your responses to the Your Turn sections of this book. Pay attention to what worked for you and what did not. Note and celebrate your progress in your journal. And remember, you are the gardener of your wellness garden. You may change, modify, discard or repeat (replant) as needed in order to reap abundant health in each future season or phase of your life.
Nature often holds up a mirror so we can see more clearly the ongoing processes of growth, renewal and transformation in our lives. ~Mary Ann Brussat, Journalist and film critic
