Herchel Scruggs is the North Florida mom behind the blog Gym Craft Laundry. Once an analyst that wrote detailed briefings for decision-makers, these days, her claim to fame is more likely to be something along the lines “that mom who has a killer cure for motion sickness.”
Herchel left her corporate job to pursue life as a work-at-home-mom. She believes ambitious and intelligent women who choose to stay home with their kids don’t have to lose the part of themselves that makes them more than “mom.”
Established in 2014, Gym Craft Laundry is full of tips for active families and “mom hacks,” designed to save time, sanity, and allow moms room to pursue their passions. If you’re looking for fitness tips, a great smoothie or popsicle recipe, or a craft that has a “won’t make you lose your marbles” difficulty level, you’re going to want to hang out with Herchel.
Herchel is the author of “Let’s Collab” a book for new bloggers to help them find their blogging tribes. She enjoys working out, hauling her kids around to soccer practice after soccer practice and spending as little time as possible doing housework.
My first blogging tribe was not niche specific. We all blogged about different topics and our tribe faltered because of it.
Let's Collab! Find the Tribe that will Skyrocket your blog
When you hit your tribe sweet spot with a small group of bloggers in the same niche with similar audiences, your blog can skyrocket. Part of what makes it easy for the reader to follow links from your blog to a tribe mate’s site is the similarity of topics.
