We all have talents. Some, we choose to share with others. A few of our talents, however, we choose to share only with close friends or family and not with those around us who we know as casual acquaintances. We each have our own reasons for what we do. Sometimes those reasons are legitimate while other times they are only to hide our embarrassment or to protect our pride. Either way, they remain our secret talents. Here is a talent that I'm quite certain I would not want, and yet, my character has it. She chooses, however, to share it only with close friends. After all, why share something that others would not understand?
