Drew has been writing all of his life, or at least from the time he knew what words and stories could do. In second grade he was writing audio plays and now, many...many years later, he's still writing. He's written the Tokorel sci-fi series, which has received numerous accolades, great reviews and awards, and numerous other books both fantastic and original. He loves sci-fi and fantasy but he also writes non-fiction as well. My characters, like me, can sometimes be not as patient as they should be. But, it seems that they are always rewarded for their waiting time. In this particular passage, it's not only the way that I feel sometimes, but the way that my characters must accept what lies ahead! Enjoy.

Kral tapped his clawed fingers on the armrest of the chair. His eyes moved as he looked for alternatives. When he could find none, he looked up and said, “Then let’s try it. I’ve never been one to believe in luck, or at least the kind that comes my way. I believe that we create our own luck through planning and patience. I’m hoping that your planning is sound so that my patience will be rewarded.”
