“So, what’s going to happen on Monday?” Gary asked between bites of pancake. “Will it be my training day?”
Stacy had just put a bite of food in her mouth but stopped chewing and just stared at Gary. Then she started to shake while laughing and not spitting out her food. She reached for her orange juice and managed to swallow the mouth full. She coughed a little and laughed a lot. “Training day? Is that what you really think?”
“Why not?” Gary asked. “That’s what happens at other companies.”
“Oh, sweetheart,” Stacy said reaching across the table and taking his hand. “I have so much to tell you about The Society. I probably should have talked with you about it last night, but I certainly didn’t want to spoil the multitude of, shall we call them, um, moments,” Stacy purred as she relived the night in her mind, “and there were a multitude of wonderful moments.”
