You never know who’s watching you, I can say that,
Unfortunately, I learned the hard way when it comes to this.
Too many times I’ve seen situations on TV like this play out,
Never thinking that this would be a crazy reality that hits home.
One night I came home to a mysterious letter on my apartment door,
Not thinking anything of it, I just open the envelope it to read it.
Inside is a long letter of someone professing his love for me,
Finding it a bit weird, I toss it to the side and pay no attention to it.
The next few days I’d come home and more letters would be attached to my door,
After a week of this I’m starting to worry and get creeped out.
One night after some fun with friends I’m on my way home,
As I’m driving I feel someone is following me and I get scared.
In my mind, I’m thinking drive to the police station but I don’t,
I start thinking my mind is playing tricks on me and I’m overthinking.
No sooner than me getting home, I find another letter attached to my door,
But now the letter is more intense saying I hope I enjoyed my night out.
It goes into description of who my friend’s names are,
And the location of where I was and what I was doing.
I call my friends and explain to them the situation and what’s going on,
They become really concerned for me and wondering who this man is.
An infatuation for me is apparent but I don’t want to look or act scared,
Nor do I want this man disrupting my life or making me feel uneasy.
Sitting alone a man comes up to me and we engage in conversation.
He seemed really nice and he tried to get my contact information,
But I told him nicely that I’m not interested in dating at this time.
He was gracious about it and I figured I wouldn’t see him again,
Little did I know, I would be seeing him more often than not.
