Chapter Two
In this chapter, you're introduced to Emmy. She's a long-suffering servant of a cruel mistress, and you see how badly she's treated by the other members of their town because of her difference: she's of different colours. However, she's not a demon. She's just normal like everyone else, with anxieties and fears. Then, at the end of the chapter, the unexpected turns up on her doorstep...
Chapter One
This is the first chapter of 'Rise of the Darkwitch', and the main conflict of the trilogy is set up. Two brothers, Mantos and Bandim, eternally against one another. With the death of their father, they have nothing left to bind them. When the brothers are separated, the whole world falls into chaos.
