Is your fate in God's hands?
I have come to realize that when we serve God we can rest assure that he will come true for us. It also is a test of our faith in his ability to do so. In this chapter, Joshua and his friends has just gone through fasting and deliverance with the townspeople to free them from bondage to the demon god and now faced death themselves. It is here you see them telling the townspeople of where their faith and trust lies. Where does yours lie when trouble arises? Think about this corona, do you trust God to keep you safe in the midst of it or you live in fear?.
Not everything shown in the media as fantasy is !
How many of us grew you thinking that mermaids, vampires or even werewolves were just fantasy? I wrote this scene in the book to remove that veil from the eyes of readers to the truth. Such creatures are real in the spiritual realm beyond what we see. The enemy uses fantasy to deceive people to accept that such things exists, so when they turn up in our dreams, we would not think of engaging in spiritual warfare to destroy what their real agenda in our lives are. Deception is the devil's biggest weapon and he often times put the truth in plain sight, but in a way for us to think it’s false. I wrote this book in a fictional way to help readers get a better understanding of what dangers these creatures can do and throughout this book; I wrote warfare prayers to show how to fight back as the Lord has been teaching me. Don't let evil change the good in you
This flash back idea in the first chapter was givin to me by a friend and I am happy he suggested it. I wanted to use this scene to demonstrate that even in scary moments love can till shine through. Not many when faced with death can think of the souls of their attackers. We never know how our action can't turn the events not only for us but even for them.
