The Trinibeings' Daughters

Science Fiction & Fantasy

If Hunger Games' Katness Everdeen or Divergent's Tris Prior were 55 years old, imagine them as us. We ARE 55. The Light-Beings tell us our immortal mothers, whom they call The Trinibeings, are dead! Huh? Our powers begin showing up. My name is Nikki and I can fly at the speed of thought. Lana can change into an animal or plant and Jami breathes underwater. Together we are to save Aqua (Earth) as the Sostrian morphers from the planet Banolia seek to destroy our water, steal the Book of Possibilities our mothers once guarded and find the Atlantis Crystal. Sostrians need us to find the Light-Beings they want to destroy and The Book they want in order to dominate the galaxy. They think we will be collateral damage. We will see they are mistaken.

THEY are coming?

Couldn't find a story about older women who reluctantly discover they are coming into supernatural powers. Also, although Wonder Woman, Super Girl, Cat Woman and others like Storm in X-Men are out there (love them all) I wanted to see some older women "kick butt" so to speak. This excerpt is from the opening chapter where my three characters are at a symposium and their reaction to a strange thing that happens to each of them their first morning. The book is for those, like me, who want to be surprised and taken on a other worldly journey that could put everyone at risk.
