The year is 2014. A man wakes up in a world gone mad. He has no idea who he is, or what he is doing lying next to a woman’s body that is slowly changing form. There is a vial stuck in his arm and remnants of putrid, slimy skin sloughing off his body. He calls out for help but the infected are attracted by the noise and desperate for their next meal. The man runs for his life and so begins his fight to save the world. After raiding a cache of weapons in a deserted store, he steps out into the weed-filled streets of San Antonio and stumbles across the few survivors making a life of sorts in the Dome. The year is 1993. Victor Boutros will settle for nothing less than ultimate power. Controlling the world’s food supply through bio-engineered food, for which he holds all the patents, is not enough. He wants more money, more power and it is his manipulations that lead to chaos, destruction and the flesh eaters. His cold indifference to the dangers of the genetically modified food that he created with the help of the beautiful Molly, a young, ambitious bio-engineer, causes an apocalypse that the remaining humans valiantly struggle to reverse.
