As soon as you start reading the book I wanted to convey a sense of danger straight away. And that anything in the story could happen at any time, even if the character feels safe. As the story builds characters slowly begin to enter and I wanted to show that even with her close friends, Ellie is lost within it all and closed off from everyone, fearing what could happen if they get too close.

I wanted to portray that being helpless is not a sign of weakness, and as the story goes on Ellie tries to fight her inner feelings to just give up and accept it. But she is taunted and toyed with until she gives up entirely and waits for death. It’s easy for anyone to give up and just wait for the inevitable, but I wanted her to fight her way through all of those feelings until the end.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to anyone who has supported the Siren Series and continued with Ellie's story. The main thing that people tell me is that they love the story and that means the world to me. Since I was young I thought all of the stories swimming inside my head were just stupid and no one would ever read them or want to. So again I want to thank you for reading my stupid stories. Enemies will be out shortly.
A New Beginning.
Desire was a lot of fun for me to write since I could just let Ellie have fun in her new life. But as the story progresses, the new life she has made for herself starts to turn sour and her past slowly catches up to her. Also in the book I introduce new characters that take a liking to Ellie, but she feels like her past mistakes are going to repeat themselves and that’s what she ran away from. But as soon as she feels settled in her new life, old enemies start to sneak up on her.
