The Dells

Mystery, Thriller & Suspense

Witty, Entertaining Suspense! The Dells They’re smart, they’re funny, and they’re about as tough as a bag of marshmallows. But when what started out as a practical joke becomes deadly serious, this group of caring, courageous women pull out all the stops. The troops band together when fun loving Tara disappears from her romantic picnic lunch without a trace. Joining forces with local detective Butch Cameron, seven resourceful – not to mention stubborn – women work to find their friend before it’s too late. Lead detective Butch Cameron heads up a state wide manhunt for the suspected serial killer, but it turns out the real challenge is keeping the victim’s friends out of harm’s way. It doesn’t take long for Butch to develop a real affection for the ladies, the adorable Cecilia Camille Wainwright in particular. Loving one of them means he has to love them all, and Butch soon discovers just how far he will go to keep them safe at The Dells.

The Four Corners

I really didn't intend to write about the four corners area of the United States, but it just kind of made sense once I got started. The Moms Weekend Mysteries take place in Arizona, but I think women from all over the country will enjoy reading about my favorite police detective in The Dells. As a kind of celebratory - and holiday - gift, I have decided The Dells will be available from Amazon on November 28th, and will be priced at just .99 cents through 2014. Happy Reading Everyone!

Creative License and making Fun of Your Friends

Anyone reading The Dells should probably know that this series is based on a group of real women. Real friends, real moms weekends, real personality traits, though many of them have been exaggerated beyond belief. It was fun making fun of my friends, but I worried they might be offended. Lucky for me, every one of them recognizes those parts of themselves that make it easy for us to laugh, and they have forgiven me. In some cases, like this little scene, I was even encouraged to make 'Crystal' seem as oblivious and self centered as possible. P.S. She really is kind of a princess!

What Would My Handsome Love Interest Be Thinking?

When I wrote this - well - introduction, I was thinking about just how my handsome hero would look, and what he would be thinking. Maybe you could let me know what it brings to mind?
