Since I've always loved Christmas it seemed the perfect setting when I started to write in the Regency period. Regencies are old fashioned and I knew there were many lovely traditions in England that I could draw upon. I loved doing the research so that when it came to actually writing the story I could add depth by adding in what I'd learned. Romance and mistletoe and kittens. What could be better to write about.
