Situations is an Urban/Street Literature novel that follows the story of two cousins, Deontay “Dee” Curry and Jayson “Jay” Bryant, as they become involved in the drug game in the small town of Saginaw Michigan. Though they were both raised in the same area, they each start with different mindsets and approaches to life in their city. Dee’s reason for involvement is to use the game in his own way to make a way out of the hood. While Jay has aspirations of taking over the entire drug scene in the city. Though they each have different reasons for their involvement, their lives are so intertwined that each of them rely on the other’s involvement for any chance of reaching their goal.
