Jesse

Literature & Fiction

Jesse Savorié stood out at the all-white Alabama school known as Jesse Rulam Elementary not because he was dirt poor, or big, and not even because he was gifted in natural and supernatural ways. Jesse stood out because he was black in an all-white school, in a time when slavery was still believed and whites only mattered. The sheer evil meanness wrought by the people of the hick, red neck, Alabama town would have thwarted the plans of most humans. However, Jesse was no ordinary human. He was on a mission that was slowly revealed to him and those who were around him. He was faster, stronger, smarter, and especially, blessed. He used his mysterious abilities to help others and to teach hard lessons, the only lessons that some people can understand and learn from. Amidst the brutality and hatred thrown at him, Jesse shines in football and friendship. If only he can survive the hangman's noose and the forces of evil, his destiny may be realized, and his life may have miraculous effects upon the world he lives in.

Not Enough Blacks?

The buzz word, or words, are that nobody cares if there were any blacks, or enough, nominated for any of the plethora of academy awards last night. I wonder why black people have to demand equality, or otherwise be ignored. Could it be that white people don't necessarily like black people, even liberal Hollywood. Wouldn't it be interesting to discus why without being called a racist.

History books vs the Bible

History books generally record the evil that men do without making judgments as to the rightness or wrongness of these events; just the facts. But there is one history book that has recorded events of man's treatment of his fellow man that has no such reluctance when it comes to forting out judgment. In fact, it is the sole purpose of this book: The Holy Bible. The Bible is itself unique. While other history books record events, and then record the consequences of those events, the Bible usually records the event and then predicts the consequences. You can buy Jesse at the usual suspects: The Kindle at Amazon, the Nook at Barnes and Noble, the real books too. But, you can get a copy of the book much cheaper at: www.jesseiscoming.com

Are blacks blessed or cursed?

History is replete with one man doing evil things to another man; with people doing evil things to other people; with one nation doing evil things to other nations; and lastly, with other races of people do evil things to other races of people. In the parlance of the human nature, no man, no people, no nation, and no race is immune from having evil things perpetrated against them. No one or nation or people or race is specifically protected against evil. Even God's chosen people seemed to have a double dose of calamitous happens. No one is immune, no one. However, is it possible for some people not only to be absent a blessing, but to be actually cursed? If such a thing could occur, then it would have to come from God. Wouldn’t it? Who’s left? Are blacks, blessed or cursed. Read Jesse and see what you think. You can buy anywhere, but for the best price go to: www.jesseiscoming.com

I've Often Wondered What If

I’ve often wondered if Jesus, or a Christ-like messenger, were to come to Earth, say around 1964, what would happen? Would people recognize him? How about if he were half-black at a racist all white school? Would they still recognize him? Would he know who he is? When would he know who he is? Would he go to school? He’d have to, wouldn’t he? Would he play sports? Would he be good? Could he control his endowed supernatural gifts? What happens when he gets mad? What would he do about the racists attitudes? How would he change them? Could he change them? If you’ve ever wondered, take a good look. Find out at: jesseiscoming.com

The Racial Unrest of Today

Just watch the news right now! Jesse is right for the times. With all the racial unrest that has enveloped the country lately (white police and unarmed black men) the country needs a historical look at what happen when a mysterious black child shows up an all-white school in Alabama in 1964, four years before integration. He healed the racist town and brought blacks and whites alike together. Jesse is a historically new look at racism from the perspective of a racists high school student years ago. Great for Black History Month. Warning, the book is true-to-life of that time and contains salty language and violence. Buy Jesse much cheaper than Amazon or BN at: www.jesseiscoming.com

Black Folk

I’m going to admit something that is strictly taboo in 2016 America. White people don’t like black people. And if you’re white, or even black for that matter, you probably don’t either. Writing this blog, by the way, is like sticking your head up a lion’s butt. You want to do something dangerous, and you know you’re in the right ballpark, you just mistakenly took an even more dangerous point of entrance. If you stick your head in a lion’s mouth, the lion may playfully appease you, if you stick your head up its butt, you are going to die. How's this not racist you shout at the paper if you're black. If you are white you smile guiltily while nervously peering over your shoulder. For the shouter, I'll explain later, but for now bear with me, and remember I'm on your side. For the white people reading this, you'll agree, just not in public, unless you’re suicidal or you want to lose your job on purpose. I’ve had some of those. Black people

In the parlance of human nature, no man, no people, no nation, and no race is immune from having evil things perpetrated against them. No one or nation or people or race is specifically protected against evil. Even God's chosen people seemed to have a double dose of calamitous happenings. No one is immune, no one. However, is it possible for some people not only to be absent a blessing, but to actually be cursed? If such a thing could occur, then it would have to come from God. Wouldn’t it? Who’s left? Of all human beings, there is one race of man that history has shown to be the most maltreated: The Black Man From Africa. Evil has seemed to plague black people for a long, long time. I’m not saying that black people are evil—they are no more evil than any other race—but that evil things seem to inexplicably happen to them…
