A number of years ago, I was asked to write a vampire novel featuring the daughter of one of my cousins as a special birthday gift. That's how 'the CULL' series was born. Originally a single standalone thriller, it is now a complete 5 book series. I wanted to approach the subject in an original manner, so I went back to questioning the origins of Stoker's Dracula. My research quickly put me on the track of another, far more plausible, explanation for the vampire creature, one based on ancient Irish mythology. It is extremely likely Bram Stoker was aware of the old tales before he left Ireland to live in London where he wrote his famous novel. So here I present an accurate account of the myth. Vampires are real, and have been with us for a very long time...
