Guidelines for a Happy Life
Our greatest instruction guide from God, The Bible, told us when we allow the Holy Spirit into our lives we would possess these qualities. This doesn't mean we might not slip, but there is nothing that can take this away from us if we allow God to rule our lives. This takes reading The Word, prayer, and meditating. Each of these qualities when working fully in our lives will produce happiness. God told us in His Word that without Love, we are nothing. That is the basis of obtaining pure joy and happiness. If we are living in Love, we will be full of compassion, honesty, goodness, and have love for everyone. It is not physical attributes that make us have beauty, but the light that will shine in us when we live according to these instructions. 1 Samuel 16:7 "But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” (ESV)
