I wrote 'Wake the Wicked: Thirteen Twisted Tales' as a way to quench reader's thirst for bizarre stories, stories with a common theme inspired by twisted moral ambiguity. The first creepy tale "Poison Ivy," for example, delves into the grim world of elder abuse where one woman is left unprotected and alone after her Siamese twin dies and she is left to fend for herself with a cruel caregiver.
