Forever Friends

Romance

Have you ever dreamed about finding your soul mate? Do you think you'd recognize him as, The One, the instant that you met? Skye thought that Raine was her dream come true when she finally fell in love with him, but her dreams soon became nightmares when Alec, King of the Vlad Vampire Clan, wanted them and every other gypsy witch of Kersh descent, dead. She had to find a way to stop Alec, end the war between clans, fight against the werewolves who turned her best friend Morgan, and keep Raine, her Forever Friend, by her side.

Intermixing Real Folklore

One of the things I like the most about writing paranormal is intermixing real folklore and fables into the book. In this excerpt you hear about a black ghost dog walking about a trail in Connecticut. The dog fable is quite real and I've actually seen it once myself on the that trail! My reaction to the poor thing was much like Morgan's. Oh, and by the way, I haven't had any good luck from that chance meeting yet. ;)

Raine's Birth

Raine's character was the first one I came up with for this series some 20 years ago and this tiny excerpt is what started the process. Funny thing is it's really a paraphrase from a conversation I had with someone once! My mind started to race with the "what ifs" that many of us writers think about when they play with a book idea. The first one that came to mind was about past lives and how a good romance should have a love transcends throughout the ages. And that's how Raine's character was born.

Alec's Hell

In Alec's Hell, you feel the anguish he feels as a vampire. Sired by Lilith, he was one of the most powerful vampires ever created. But he could not grant his lover immortality because a witch cast a spell upon him.
