It had been a long day, and Jenna and Marcus settled into their digs on board. They reconfigured the Mini Suite, hanging a curtain between the bed area and the living area. Opening the couch to a bed afforded them two semi-private sleeping areas. Jenna had crashed while Marcus sat out on the balcony contemplating all that had happened and what the future could be.
Angelina, what a fitting name. She could be an ‘Angelina Jolie,’ thought Marcus. It was difficult taking my eyes off her when Sal introduced us. I have never felt instantly attracted to someone before. Jenna was right in openly kidding me about it as it made things a little easier.
If Sal or the Gambioni family ever knew we were CIA, we would be in real trouble. This assignment could get complicated. It’s a far cry from ‘Mission Impossible’ but it sure beats sitting at a desk in Manhattan.
Suddenly Marcus sat up straight in the deck lounge chair. A new thought jumped in his head and he mumbled out loud, Oh, my God, I know that face.”
